The Utah Film Awards released its review of Rabbits on its website:
“Patrick Clement brings us a pensive story of a husband
who could not accept the death of his wife and does everything in his
capacity to stay beside her even after her death. Jonathan Hansen
portrays the character with such solemn and wistful countenance through
the film symptomatic of the desolation the character is encompassed by. Rabbits
is brilliantly put together from an authentic and moving story. Matt
Pelsma produced such a commendable music which evokes the feeling of
deep sadness.”

their work in a new direction,” he said. “When I got to Kansas, my work
drastically changed for the better.”

My Columbia MFA Thesis Short Film ’Three Corner House’ has been selected by the Catwalk Artists Residency in Catskill, NY.
“The mission of the Catwalk Art Residency is to establish Catwalk as a
special retreat for art making. Artists, writers and and creative practices of all
types are considered for the residency through application processes at
each institution. Residents come to stay at the property from Spring
through Fall in private living spaces with separate studio spaces
available for use across the property. Full use of the grounds is
encouraged along with exploration of the Catskill and Hudson area.
Projects that are collaborative or that connect to the region
specifically are especially appropriate for selection.”
Principal photography for ’Three Corner House’ is scheduled for March 12th in the Hudson Valley.
Director Patrick Clement was featured on the front page of the Columbia University School of the Arts website for his “Best Kansas Short Narrative” Award at the Tallgrass Film Festival.

Rabbits won BEST KANSAS SHORT NARRATIVE at Tallgrass International Film Festival last week. I was there to accept the award with Rabbits composer Matt Pelsma inside the Orpheum in downtown Wichita. Tallgrass was our “local” fast, having shot Rabbits a couple of hours to the west. They put on a great fest and really treat the filmmakers to a wonderful week! Thanks to the entire TGFF crew and team!
Rabbits won the BEST STUDENT SHORT AWARD at the New Hampshire Film Festival last week! I was in Portsmouth at the Music Hall to accept the award. The NHFF was a blast and I got to bring along Through the Wide Gate Composer Corban Lott. We had a blast! Thank to the entire NHFF team and the great filmmakers that we met over the weekend!
